It has been said, "Feed your faith and your doubts will starve to death." F.F. Bosworth, a great faith preacher some years ago, said that most Christians feed their bodies three hot meals a day, their spirits one cold snack a week,
and then wonder why they are so weak in faith!
Success is not a one-sided deal, as if God would lead you to a tree that has dollar notes hanging from it, or as if God would tip a bucket of blessing out upon you. Success is a divine-human reciprocity, which means that both God and you have a part to play. God's part is guaranteed when you do your part, and one of the secrets you must apply is to Feed Your Faith, and starve your doubts!
Romans 10:8-9 tells us that we needed faith to get into the
family. "But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
